Feelings of low mood, despair, and hopelessness may arise as we continue to adjust to the various ways in which the Coronavirus has impacted our lives. Additionally, if we have struggled with depressive feelings before the pandemic, this may have intensified as we are unable to access our usual means of copings. At the Forum we hope to continue to bring light to ensuring that our spiritual needs are met.

Our speaker for the webinar is John McConnell, who is a stress management trainer and former prison governor and social worker. He has been studying and teaching raja yoga meditation for nearly 30 years. He has a strong interest in the practical application of spiritual principles and insights in daily life and conducts workshops in this country and abroad on a variety of personal development topics with a view to enabling people to improve the quality of their life and help change the world. He recently wrote a book entitled: Breaking Through The Darkness How to defeat depression, anxiety and stress – a spiritual perspective'.
The webinar will take place on Thursday 14th May at 5.30pm to 7pm. We will be using zoom and the waiting room will be open from 5.30pm, with the webinar starting at 6pm.
