About The Event
It is now ten years since we lost our dear friend Peter Gilbert to the crippling illness of Motor Neurone Disease. However, Peter lives on in our memory and his legacy continues to be the guiding rationale for our Forum. From his interfaith work to his mentoring of new and experienced managers, Peter brought a deeply human perspective to all with whom he came into contact.
We are marking the 10th anniversary of his death with a special session devoted to his memory. Our speakers will include Forum trustees Martin Aaron, Hon Secretary of the Forum, and Amrick Singh Ubhi, Director of Civil Engagements and Partnerships at the Nichkam Civic Association, both of whom contrinuted to the book in his memory 'Crossing the River'.
Our session will be introduced and chaired by Ben Bano, Acting Chair of the Forum. There will be an opportunity to share your memories of your contact with Peter, as well as reflecting on his legacy for our troubled world today.
