Faith Partnership Working in Essex and East London
Time & Location
About The Event
Four speakers from Essex Mind and Spirit, Inter-Faith Forums and the Essex County Council will present ‘snap shots’ of how they and many others have cooperated together to work on a coordinated approach to supporting different faith and BAME communities, and those most vulnerable and at-risk as a result of COVID-19.
They will also showcase the work of Essex Mind and Spirit and the Essex Faith Covenant which seek to bring together many faiths and partner organisations to network and share best practices, and support holistically those living with mental ill-health.
- Rev/d Canon Ivor Moody is Vice Dean and Canon Pastor of Chelmsford Cathedral since 2010. He is also Chaplain to Essex County Council, Chair of the Mid Essex Inter-Faith Forum, Chair of Essex Mind, and Spirit and Chair of the Essex Faith Covenant. Both Andrew and Caroline have been integral to the Faith and Communities Tactical Coordination Group which was set up at the beginning of the pandemic, to support faith communities and the BAME communities in Essex and East London, and those most vulnerable in the lockdowns.
