Peter retired in 2013 following Stroke and lives in Canterbury. Kent.
He was ordained in 1980 in Lichfield. Parish ministry has always included some educational and health care elements, this was the case when he was working in Walsall and Wolverhampton, and then later on after a move to Somerset. He served for twelve years on the training group for mental health chaplains. He was part of the Somerset project, a service user led piece of research on the place of Spirituality in Patient centred Care. He moved to Kent in 2003 to what became Kent and Medway Partnership Trust where he became the Chaplaincy team leader. The Forum has long been a significant part of his CPD, and as honorary president he hopes that a broad range of mental healthcare workers will use the Forum as a resource for their own professional development.
